How to Use This Spill Kit
• Identify the spill and ensure it is safe to approach • Stop the source if possible and safe to do so • Use socks to contain and prevent spread • Apply oil‑only pads for hydrocarbons • Apply general purpose/universal pads for coolants, paints, detergents, and water‑based liquids • Collect used absorbents in disposal bags • Follow site hazardous‑waste procedures and restock the kit
